«El rey de los espinos» is the adventure and fantasy novel by Marcelo Figueras, published by Suma Internacional in hardcover (400 pages, in Spanish).
A famous comics author is found murdered in Buenos Aires in 2019; at his funeral, four anachronistic strangers (a medieval knight, a pirate, a motorcyclist and an explorer) go unnoticed. Milo, a cemetery employee, links this appearance to the deceased's panels and to the disappearance of the author's daughters.
The book belongs to the Nuevas voces collection and its first edition was published on September 17, 2014.
Recommended for adult readers of adventure and fantasy seeking plots with a thriller pace.
Marcelo Figueras is an Argentine writer and a screenwriter.
