In 'El río baja sucio', David Trueba introduces us to Tom and Martín, two friends whose predictable Holy Week in the mountains takes an unexpected turn. Amidst nature and family reunions, they meet an enigmatic man and his daughter Danae, who burst into their lives, leading them to experience unknown tensions and lose their innocence. While adults deal with a painful past, young people face the construction of their future, in a story that explores friendship, growth and confrontation with reality.
