«El último en morir» is a novel by Xavier Velasco, published by Alfaguara in paperback (312 pages, in Spanish).
A narrator must earn his role in a twisted love story with rules self-imposed since childhood. His game, raw material for scars, demands living on the edge, making every day a movie and jumping into the void without a stunt double. Romance, prison, drugs and speed intersect with the writer's craft and not dying in the attempt.
Aimed at readers of literary and biographical fiction, with an interest in stories about writers and addictions.
Xavier Velasco is a Mexican writer. He was born in Mexico City. He won the 2003 Premio Alfaguara for his novel Diablo Guardián.
