«El xicot de la Taca i Sac de Panxa» is a play by Vicent Penya Calatayud, published by Brosquil Ediciones in paperback and in Catalan.
It is a theatrical parody of Don Quixote in which the roles are reversed: the Xicot de la Taca is a fearful and self-serving Quixote, while Sac de Panxa is a daring, quixotic Sancho Panza. The work humorously celebrates the fourth centenary of the publication of Don Quixote.
The work, published in 2006, is part of the Titella collection (number 6) and features illustrations by Alberto Urcaray. It has 74 pages.
It is suitable for young readers who want to approach the Cervantine universe through theater and satire.
