In 'Elogio del Futuro' ('In Praise of the Future'), Eudald Carbonell invites us to reflect on human evolution and our capacity to influence the future of our species. This essay proposes a change in the understanding of our evolution, prioritizing the conscious construction of the future through scientific knowledge and technology. Carbonell argues that our survival depends on our ability to collectively decide what we want to be as a species, taking control of our history and overcoming environmental determinism. A manifesto for a critical consciousness that drives us to take control of our evolutionary destiny.
