«Els amics muts» is the short story collection by Consol Truchero Coma, published by Adeshoras in paperback (150 pages, in Catalan).
Nineteen stories that look at everyday reality with unease: characters from small towns and villages face moral dilemmas, love relationships, losses and separations, and the childhood universe is also present. The prose is concise, attentive to subtle details, and Jordi Llavina defines the style as essential and mineral.
The cover is the work of Raquel Fernández Sáez; Jordi Llavina i Murgadas signs the prologue. First edition published on March 15, 2019.
For readers of short fiction in Catalan who appreciate stories with a close setting, moral dilemmas and a concise style.
