«Els pèsols meravellosos» is the children's story adapted by Francesc Bofill and illustrated by Arnal Ballester, from La Galera in hardcover (24 pages, Catalan).
The story begins when Lluc's mother throws away the peas her son has gathered; what neither of them imagines is that a giant plant sprouts from them and grows without stopping. Arnal Ballester's illustrations accompany the narrative and shape the adventure.
Volume 12 of La Galera's Popular collection. First edition published on October 21, 1993.
A suitable read for children aged 6 to 8, especially for those starting to read illustrated stories in Catalan.
