«Els silencis de la Blu» is the young adult novel by Antoni Dalmases Pardo, published by Arcadia in paperback (215 pages, in Catalan).
The protagonist, Martina, talks a lot, but protects her privacy and divides her world between Blu, with whom she can talk about anything, and her real friends, to whom she doesn't tell everything. The arrival of a new classmate, Julieta, who sits next to her, makes her uncomfortable and tests that boundary between what is said and what is kept.
The novel, published in 2015, is volume 6 of the collection «la meva arcàdia» and is illustrated by Juliet Pomés Leiz.
Novel recommended for ages 12 and up, for young readers interested in stories about friendship and privacy.
