«Em diuen Tano» is a children's story by Lola Casas and illustrated by Raúl Nieto, published by La Galera in paperback (24 pages, in Catalan).
Tano is a little donkey who works for a farmer until a van replaces him. Tano himself narrates the story: he describes himself as strong and plump, with brown fur and long ears, and says that some call him a donkey and others an ass. The text uses joined-up lettering and simple vocabulary for early readers.
Part of the Cues de Sirena collection (no. 16). Corresponds to the first edition, published on February 12, 2003.
Recommended for children ages 3 to 5, especially for those starting to read on their own; the simple language facilitates independent reading.
