«En Bernat Bomber» is the children's story by Maria Grau Saló, published by Edicions del Pirata in paperback (24 pages, in Catalan).
The story follows Bernat, a brave and friendly firefighter who works at the fire station and puts out the city's fires; his shiny red vehicle bears the same name. Designed for beginning readers, it presents the same text in print and cursive letters, with little text and full-color illustrations.
First title in the Plou i Fa Sol collection, a series of nine books of progressive difficulty for learning to read. Includes illustrations by Eva Janàriz.
For boys and girls starting to read, from age 4, and for learning to read in Catalan.
