«Enchanté, monsieur Courbet» is a children's art book by Sylvie Girardet and Nestor Salas, published by RMN in hardcover (37 pages, in French).
It offers a playful approach to the work of French painter Gustave Courbet. It invites readers to play with the artist, discover an afternoon in Ornans, help the wheat sifters and stroll with the young ladies on the banks of the Seine, combining observation of paintings with small activities.
It is a title in the «Salut l'artiste» collection from RMN; the original edition appeared on October 18, 2007.
Designed for children aged 6 to 8, with activities that allow a first approach to Courbet and to painting.
