«Enquiridión» is the manual of Stoic philosophy by Epicteto, published by Anthropos in 2004 in paperback, in Spanish.
The Enquiridión brings together in brief precepts the moral teachings of Epicteto: distinguishing what depends on us, governing the passions, accepting events, and practicing virtue in order to live serenely. Its direct and practical tone makes it a gateway to Stoicism.
A reference work for anyone approaching Stoicism and practical philosophy, with an approach oriented toward everyday life.
Epictetus was a Greek Stoic philosopher. He was born into slavery at Hierapolis, Phrygia and lived in Rome until his banishment, after which he spent the rest of his life in Nicopolis in northwestern Greece.
