«Escribir es vivir» is the autobiographical essay by José Luis Sampedro with Olga Lucas, published by Debolsillo in paperback (288 pages, in Spanish).
The book stems from the lessons Sampedro gave at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo in 2003, which Olga Lucas turned into a written account. The author reviews his childhood in Tangier, his adolescence in Aranjuez and his life in Madrid, along with his career as an economist and writer and the years of war and postwar.
It is part of the «Ensayo | Literatura» collection from Debolsillo. Paperback edition without flaps published on February 2, 2012.
