«España, perdiste» is the humor book by Hernán Casciari, published by Plaza & Janés in paperback (200 pages, in Spanish).
The author turns the relationship between Argentines and Spaniards into a humorous chronicle: after the 2001 crisis, a wave of Argentines lands in Spain and, in a parodic tone, tries to erode Iberian culture with customs and long after-dinner conversations. Nostalgia and humor are the keys to this chronicle of the peninsula's greatest plague.
First edition published on September 7, 2007. The cover subtitle is «La verdadera historia de la mayor epidemia que ha asolado la península: los argentinos».
Aimed at a general audience, especially those who enjoy humor and the cultural differences between Argentines and Spaniards.
