«Españistán (edición rústica) 1» is the satirical comic by Aleix Saló, published by Editores de Tebeos in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
A young cani or poligonero travels through the kingdom of Españistán to get rid of his mortgage. Along the way he meets characters embodying stereotypes of crisis-era Spain: the unemployed, mileuristas, civil servants, bishops, trash TV and bribes. A satire using swear words and spelling mistakes as comic devices.
First volume in the Popcorn collection. Cover with the subtitle «Este país se va a la mierda»; the original work was published in 2011 and this edition in January 2012.
A work of acid humor and social criticism for readers interested in the Spanish reality of the crisis.
