«Soy de pueblo» is the humor comic by Raquel Córcoles and Marta Rabadán, published by Editores de Tebeos in paperback (80 pages, in Spanish).
Presented as a manual for surviving in the city, the comic follows a young woman who leaves her town to settle in a big city and humorously reviews the everyday situations of her new life: the clash with the urban pace, the habits of newcomers and the metamorphosis into a «moderna de pueblo».
It is the first title in the Popcorn collection and was published in 2011. The work won the Beca Carnet Jove 2010 Conecta't al Còmic.
Recommended for young readers who have experienced the move from town to city and are looking for a humorous take on that experience.
