«Estación Otoño-Norte» is the poetry collection by Manuel Jurado López, published by Algaida Editores in 2019 in paperback (48 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together poems in three sections around estrangement and uprootedness. The author contrasts the physical and the emotional world to reflect on solitude, lack of communication, literary creation, death, travel and love as forms of exclusion, with a voice that oscillates between acid irony and surprising language.
It won the XXXVII Ciudad de Badajoz Poetry Prize. It is part of the Algaida Literaria collection, Poetry series, from Algaida Editores.
For readers of contemporary Spanish poetry interested in award-winning works and in a lyrical reflection on identity and uprootedness.
