«Estimada Marta» is the poetry collection by Miquel Martí i Pol, published by Edicions 62 in paperback (104 pages, in Catalan).
The collection is divided into three independent but complementary sections: «Set poemes d'aniversari», «Capfoguer» and «Estimada Marta», which gives the volume its title. Miquel Martí i Pol notes that they respond to the only two experiences illness allows: reflection and desire; the first section alludes to the author's seven years of illness.
It belongs to the El Cangur collection. This updated edition includes a prologue and a final section with reading alternatives. The work received the Premi de la Crítica de Poesia Catalana in 1979.
Miquel Martí i Pol was one of the most popular and widely-read Catalan poets of the twentieth century, publishing more than 1,500 poems.
