«Bruixa de dol» is Maria Mercè Marçal's poetry collection, published by Edicions 62 in paperback (160 pages, in Catalan).
A poetry collection committed to life, language, love and freedom. Marçal published it at twenty-seven, combining popular and classical forms and images that demand an alternative reading of her feminine and feminist experience. The work progresses from an intimate self to a collective we, women as fairies and witches, in an epic key.
This 2007 edition belongs to the Educació 62 collection and its full title is Bruixa de dol (1977-1979).
Edition designed to bring Maria Mercè Marçal's poetry closer to a young audience and the educational sphere.
