Terry, a teenager with a complicated life after his father's departure, writes letters to Bruce Springsteen to tell him about his daily life. He doesn't expect a reply, but putting it in writing helps him face family problems and imagine a future of his own, among guitars, a charity concert and first loves.

A read for young people seeking stories of personal growth with music as a backdrop.
