«Ética para Amador» is the philosophical essay by Fernando Savater, published by Editorial Ariel in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
Written as a long letter addressed to a teenager, this book argues that ethics is not a manual of academic rules but a personal reflection on how to live. Fernando Savater addresses freedom, responsibility, coexistence, pleasure, the relationship between ethics and politics, and problems such as the conservation of the planet or immigration, in an accessible language without sacrificing rigor.
20th anniversary edition, volume 5 of the Fernando Savater Library. The work was originally published in 1991.
Recommended reading for young people starting out in philosophy and for adults seeking an accessible introduction to ethics.
