«Fábulas» is a collection of stories by Juan Ramón Corpas, published by Editorial Pre-Textos in paperback (108 pages, in Spanish).
A collection of stories that gives literary form to traditional Navarrese legends, recreates some, and adds others that imagine a past that could have been different. Humor and feigned erudition run through these stories, written between 1983 and 1988, with a prologue by José-Carlos Mainer.
First title in the Gato Azul Collection, co-published by Pre-Textos and the Gustavo de Maeztu Museum. Fábulas received a Literary Creation Grant from the Government of Navarre in 1990.
For readers of contemporary Spanish fiction, especially those interested in Navarrese legends reinterpreted with humor and fantasy.
