«Tango» is the novel by Miguel Ángel Serrano, published by Editorial Pre-Textos in paperback (108 pages, in Spanish).
On New Year's Eve, a man reflects in an interior monologue on how he ended up alone after the breakdown of his marriage. Since autumn, his ex-wife has been writing him a letter that may be a diary of memories. The novel rests on what is never heard: an absent dialogue whose silences weigh on the most innocent.
This work was Miguel Ángel Serrano's first novel, winner of the José María de Pereda Short Novel Prize 1997, and corresponds to number 36 of the collection «Títulos en coedición y fuera de colección».
