«Flairosa, la bruixa dels sabons» is the children's book by Carles Sala i Vila, illustrated by Cristina Sardà, in paperback (96 pages, in Catalan).
In Vilafrondosa, a seemingly quiet village, unsettling things begin to happen: the river turns dirty and smelly, a neighbor loses his voice, and strange beasts prowl the surroundings. Everything points to the feared wizard Nastapat having returned. Flairosa, the witch of magic soaps, will be the one to try to restore order with her soapy spells.
Published in 2008 in the Sopa de Llibres collection, Taronja series. Winner of the Barcanova Prize for children's and young adult literature.
Recommended for ages 8 and up, for readers seeking magic, mystery and witch adventures.
