«Fragmentos del futuro» is a collection of science fiction stories by Jack London, published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in hardcover (224 pages).
The work brings together stories of a speculative and critical tone: «Semper Idem» shows a dehumanized medicine, «Los favoritos de Midas» presents an extortion that punishes innocents, and «Goliah» imagines science in the service of peace. Utopia, social criticism and grotesque endings complete the collection.
It belongs to the Tus libros collection (no. 43). Translation, selection, notes and appendix by Francisco Cabezas Coca; illustrations by Juan Paccini. Includes a final bibliography.
An edition aimed at young readers: recommended reading age from 14 years and suggested school level from 4th to 6th.
