«Fray Perico en la paz» is the children's and young adult novel by Juan Muñoz Martín, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).
After the end of the Peninsular War, Fray Perico's convent is dilapidated: tiles are missing, the tower is crooked, and they have no food. The friars will have to figure out how to repair the monastery and survive, in a story of humor and cooperation in which mutual help proves key.
Fourth installment in the Fray Perico series, published in the El Barco de Vapor Naranja collection (no. 117), with illustrations by Antonio Tello Gil.
Recommended for children and young readers aged 9 to 12, and for those seeking a humorous adventure read.
