«Génesis del Derecho Foral de Valencia» is the historical study by Roque Chabás and Manuel Bas Carbonell, published in 2003 in hardcover and in Spanish.
The work studies the origins of Valencian foral law based on the codices and manuscripts from the 13th to 15th centuries preserved in the archive of Valencia Cathedral; published in 1902, it was the first rigorous study of these sources. The legislation was repealed in 1707 by the Nueva Planta decree, although it continued to be applied unofficially.
This edition is a facsimile of the 1902 original preserved in the Serrano Morales Library of Valencia City Council and belongs to the 9 d'Octubre collection.
