«Gigote et le dragon» is the children's picture book by Jean-Pierre Idatte, published by Les Trois Chardons in paperback (22 pages, in French).
Gigote, a young shepherdess, is curious about the dragon that has settled in the forest. Despite her grandfather's warning, she ventures into the woods; when the beast threatens to devour her, the girl proposes telling it a story before it decides her fate. The tale may awaken the dragon's hidden tenderness and convince it to spare her and other children.
The book includes an audio CD and illustrations by Rodolphe Baudouin; the edition is from December 2016.
Recommended for children aged 3 to 5; a story for the little ones with audio support.
