Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin appear on the cover sharing a hug, in a story about friendship and affection. The book's flaps allow children to take part in the reading and discover small details of each scene while they play.
It is a title in the Roly-Poly Lift-the-Flaps series and is recommended for children aged 2 to 4. The original publication dates from 1997.
For early readers, especially those who already know Winnie the Pooh and his friends.
Alan Alexander Milne was an English writer best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh, as well as children's poetry. Milne was primarily a playwright before the huge success of Winnie-the-Pooh overshadowed his previous work. He served as a lieutenant in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment in the First World War and as a captain in the Home Guard in the Second World War.
