«Good News, Bad News» is the children's picture book by Jeff Mack, published by Scholastic in paperback (40 pages, in English).
Rabbit and Mouse go on a picnic and experience the same adventure from opposite points of view: Rabbit always finds the good side of what happens, while Mouse only sees the bad side. The contrast between their reactions turns every mishap into a funny scene and shows how attitude influences friendship and the way of seeing the world.
A story suitable for early readers and for discussing optimism, pessimism, and different points of view in friendship.
