«Guillermo el genial» is a volume of children's and young adult stories by Richmal Crompton, published by Espasa-Calpe in paperback (269 pages, in Spanish).
Guillermo, a mischievous and imaginative boy, is the protagonist of these short stories. In one of them he organizes an aquatic race in which participants must run with their mouths full of water without swallowing or spitting it out; an offhand comment to Mrs. Adolphus Crane complicates everything.
Volume in the Aventuras de Guillermo collection, translated from English by Guillermo López Hipkiss and with illustrations. The original work dates from 1924.
For young readers and for those who enjoy classic stories of humor and mischief featuring children.
Richmal Crompton Lamburn was a popular English writer, best known for her Just William series of books, humorous short stories, and to a lesser extent adult fiction books.
