«Haikus d'animals» is the children's poetry book by Estel Baldó, Rosa Gil and Maria Soliva, published by Editorial Barcanova in paperback (24 pages, in Catalan).
Brief poems of Japanese origin through which the youngest discover poetry: each haiku focuses on a familiar animal, one that can be seen in the park, in the home garden or on a trip. Each double page presents the text in two typefaces (sans serif and cursive) to facilitate independent reading.
First edition, published on March 14, 2019. It is part of the «El bosc de colors» collection from Barcanova and includes illustrations by Mayra Aguilar.
For boys and girls aged 4 and up who are beginning to read, also in the school setting, as a first approach to poetry.
