«Historias secretas, verdaderas e inventadas de Mina HB» is Susanna Mattiangeli's children's novel (Anaya Infantil y Juvenil, hardcover, 136 pages).
The protagonist, Mina HB, gathers in her almost-secret notebook texts of all kinds: what she experiences at school, stories she invents, letters, messages to her friend Nora, and the adventures of her favorite comic. Between reality and fantasy, the book shows her daily life with family and friends, with humor and lots of imagination.
First installment of the Matita HB series by Susanna Mattiangeli, winner of the 2018 Andersen Prize for best writer. Translated from the Italian by Carlos Gumpert Melgosa and illustrated by Rita Petruccioli.
Aimed at young readers aged 10 and up, especially those who enjoy diaries, humor and imagination.
