«Mina HB» is the children's novel by Susanna Mattiangeli, published by Editorial Barcanova in hardcover (136 pages, in Catalan).
Mina HB keeps in her almost-secret notebook everything she feels like: what she experiences at school, the stories she invents, sincere letters, messages for her friend Nora and the adventures of her favorite comic. She usually keeps it closed in the wardrobe, though maybe one day someone will find it and read it.
This book opens the Matita HB series and was translated from Italian into Catalan by Mercè Estévez. The work won the 2018 Andersen Prize for best writer of the year.
Recommended for children's and young readers aged 10 and over, with stories of school, friendship and fantasy.
