Simon and Georgie are finally about to realize their dream: taking a sabbatical year in the tropics to write and paint. They fly to Queensland, Australia, for a home exchange. Upon arrival, they learn that the Australian husband could not travel to France for obscure professional reasons, while his wife did make the trip. The man is, in fact, hiding at a neighbor's house, observing the newcomers, especially the French woman. It is a story of love and temporal paradoxes centered around the world of home exchanges.
