«Humboldt el explorador» is the popular biography written by Nicolás Cuvi, published by Ediciones EL ROMPECABEZAS in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
Alexander von Humboldt, a wealthy baron, left everything behind to explore the American continent: he travelled across Latin America, climbed volcanoes, suffered tropical diseases, endured millions of mosquitoes and studied plants and animals. The book recreates his journeys and his determination to describe a barely known world.
Published in 2006, it is the fifth title in the Sabelotod@s collection and includes activities.
For readers aged 9 to 12, curious about science, nature and great explorations.
