«Inteligência e Realidade» is the philosophical essay by Xavier Zubiri, published by É Realizações in 2011 in paperback (240 pages, in Portuguese).
Starting from the «problem of knowledge» that opens Aristotle's Metaphysics, Zubiri reviews the responses of Plato, Descartes, Kant, Hegel and Husserl, considers them insufficient and proposes a «logic of reality» to describe the act of human intellection and dismantle the assumptions of the theory of knowledge.
Volume 1 of the series «Inteligencia sentiente». Portuguese translation of «Inteligencia y realidad», originally published in 1998.
For philosophy readers interested in epistemology and metaphysics or in the thought of Xavier Zubiri.
