«Invasió subtil i altres contes» is a collection of short stories by Pere Calders, published by Edicions 62 in 1981 in paperback (128 pages, in Catalan).
Pere Calders's stories combine imagination and humor to observe reality with irony and a lucid gaze. Everyday situations mingle with the unusual, so that fantasy ends up calling into question what appears to be normal. The agile language and expressive finds sustain a mischievous and entertaining tone.
It belongs to the El Cangur collection (no. 58). It is the seventh edition. The work was originally published in 1978 and won the Premi Lletra d'Or and the Premi Crítica Serra d'Or de Contes i Narracions in 1979.
