«Joachim a des ennuis» is the children's adventure by René Goscinny with illustrations by Jean-Jacques Sempé, published by Editions Gallimard in paperback (160 pages, in French).
Little Nicholas and his gang face everyday misadventures: selling charity raffle tickets, learning to cross the street, or bringing curious objects to school, to their teacher's bewilderment. Goscinny's humor and Sempé's drawings turn these pranks into a funny chronicle of childhood.
Fifth volume in the Le Petit Nicolas series; the original title of this work is «Le Petit Nicolas a des ennuis».
Aimed at young readers and adults who want to rediscover the humor of Goscinny and Sempé.

René Goscinny was a French comic editor and writer, who created the Asterix comic book series with illustrator Albert Uderzo. Born in France to a Jewish family from Poland, he spent his childhood in Argentina where he attended French schools and later lived in the United States for a short period of time. There he met Belgian cartoonist Morris. After his return to France, they collaborated for more than 20 years on the comic series Lucky Luke.
