«Los recreos del pequeño Nicolás» is the storybook by René Goscinny and Jean-Jacques Sempé, published by Alfaguara in paperback (120 pages, in Spanish).
The stories in this volume take place during school recess, that moment so awaited by Nicolás and his classmates. When the bell rings, the boys can finally put into practice whatever comes to mind: games, races, arguments and small pranks that end in funny situations, told with the humor and tenderness characteristic of the series.
Second volume of the Le Petit Nicolas series, originally published in French in 1961; this Spanish edition is from 1985.
Aimed at young readers aged 9 to 12.

René Goscinny was a French comic editor and writer, who created the Asterix comic book series with illustrator Albert Uderzo. Born in France to a Jewish family from Poland, he spent his childhood in Argentina where he attended French schools and later lived in the United States for a short period of time. There he met Belgian cartoonist Morris. After his return to France, they collaborated for more than 20 years on the comic series Lucky Luke.
