«Juan sin miedo» is the children's story by Joan Amades, published by La Galera in hardcover (24 pages, in Spanish).
A popular tale about a boy who never feels fear; his courage leads him to adventures where others would tremble, facing difficult situations with determination and showing that bravery is about personal growth.
Part of the Popular collection (no. 54). Adapted by Roser Iborra from the tale by Joan Amades, with illustrations by Max.
Recommended for early readers aged 6 to 8, with a short text and visual support.

Joan Amades i Gelats was a Catalan ethnologist and folklorist. An autodidact, he worked at the historical archive of the city of Barcelona and at the Museum of Industry and Popular Arts of the same city. From 1956 onwards, he collaborated with UNESCO. He was also an important promoter of Esperanto and founded the Federació Esperantista Catalana. Perhaps the most important book in his large bibliography is Costumari Català, the main work for the study of Catalan popular culture.
