Synopsis of Knock Knock Who's There?

«Knock Knock Who's There?» is a children's picture book by Sally Grindley, illustrated by Anthony Browne, in paperback (Puffin, 32 pages, in English).

Knocks at the door follow one after another, and each time a more outlandish visitor appears: a gorilla, a witch, a ghost, and even a dragon looking for dinner. They all share a pair of checked slippers, a clue that gives away the culprit: the boy's father, turned into the engine of a nightly guessing game.
