«La araña enamorada» is the children's story by Blanca Álvarez González, published by EDICIONES SM in paperback (57 pages, in Spanish).
A spider and a swallow seem destined not to understand each other, but the gaze of the painter Gabriel discovers something special in that relationship and makes it the center of his work. The story, inspired by the figure of Joan Miró, celebrates friendship between very different beings through love and painting.
It is part of the El Barco de Vapor Blanca collection (number 114) and includes illustrations by Juan Berrio.
Aimed at children aged 6 to 7 who are beginning to read alone, with print lettering and a tender story about friendship.
