«La princesa Shiro» is the children's fantasy novel by Blanca Álvarez González, published by S.M. Editorial in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
In a valley that remains snowy when spring should arrive, Kumiko cannot go to school or play outside. Princess Shiro asks her for help to recover three lost gifts; if she succeeds, the snow will disappear and her greatest wish will come true. The tale, with a poetic tone, is inspired by Joan Miró's painting «La danse des coquelicots».
The book belongs to the El Barco de Vapor Blanca collection and includes illustrations by Daniel Montero Galán.
Recommended for early readers aged 6 to 8 who enjoy tales of magic and painting.
