«La barca sin pescador / Siete gritos en el mar» is a theater volume by Alejandro Casona, published by Edaf Antillas in paperback (176 pages, in Spanish).
This edition brings together two works of Alejandro Casona's symbolic theater. La barca sin pescador contrasts the world of finance with that of fishermen, where man finds fulfillment in contact with nature. Siete gritos en el mar shows seven characters who, faced with death, question human anguish and the meaning of existence.
Includes a prologue by Mauro Armiño and is number 150 in the Biblioteca Edaf pocket collection.
For readers interested in Spanish theater and the dramatic output of Alejandro Casona.

Alejandro Rodríguez Álvarez, known as Alejandro Casona was a Spanish poet and playwright born in Besullo, Spain, a member of the Generation of '27. Casona received his bachelor's degree in Gijon and later studied at the University of Murcia. After Franco's rise in 1936, he was forced, like many Spanish intellectuals, to leave Spain. He lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina until April 1962, when he definitively returned to Spain.
