«La BD dans la ville» is Thibaut Vandorselaer's illustrated guide to Brussels' comic murals, published by Versant Sud in paperback (48 pages).
The book offers a walk through Brussels following the trail of some fifty street works dedicated to Franco-Belgian comic heroes. Frescoes and sculptures across the city pay tribute to characters such as Tintin, Asterix, Lucky Luke, Blake and Mortimer, Gaston Lagaffe or Titeuf, celebrating the so-called ninth art.
The cover features three urban scenes of Brussels with comic characters and titles in French, Dutch and English.
For tourists and comic fans wanting to discover Brussels through urban art and the legacy of Franco-Belgian creators.
