«La Belle Vie après 70 ans» is the essay by Philippe Bouvard, published by LGF/Le Livre de Poche in paperback (215 pages, in French).
Philippe Bouvard reflects on aging in this work and argues that getting older is a success. He champions «antiquity» as experience against old age understood as decline, and with irony recovers personal anecdotes such as his return to Les Grosses Têtes to celebrate life after seventy.
The paperback edition was published in 2004; the work consists of 215 pages and its ISBN-13 is 9782253111504.
For readers facing the so-called third age or seeking a vitalist and undramatic reflection on aging.

Philippe Bouvard is a retired French television and radio presenter.
