«La bruja Chiripa y su pócima mágica» is the children's story by Carmen Martín Anguita, illustrated by Carmen García Iglesias, published by Alhambra in paperback.
Chiripa is an enthusiastic witch, but her spells rarely turn out as she expects: the broom doesn't obey her and her potions cause more than a bit of chaos. Even so, each failure encourages her to seek a different solution and to change what she doesn't like with imagination and perseverance.
The book, 48 pages, was published in 2009 in Alhambra's Orange Series, a children's literature collection.
A children's read for young readers who enjoy witch stories, fantasy, and characters who learn from their mistakes.
