«La bufanda azul» is the young adult novel by Asun Balzola, published by Ediciones Gaviota in paperback (60 pages, in Spanish).
A teenager feels trapped between family and routine and dreams of being like the heroines of the movies. With her rebelliousness she crosses limits: shoplifting in department stores becomes the center of her life and brings her closer to a group of classmates. The fascination with a girl on a motorcycle, sister of a missing student, wraps the story in mystery.
It belongs to the Gaviota Junior collection, in its third edition. Asun Balzola also signs the illustrations.
For readers aged 10 to 12 interested in realistic stories about the conflicts of adolescence, school life and friendship.
