«La Carta» is the children's book by Annabel Sardans i Sellarès and Isaac Bosch, published by Círculo de Lectores in paperback (24 pages, in Spanish).
Little Laia, who lives in Barcelona, writes a letter to Lenka; from that gesture, the book recreates her adventures and the fantasy that correspondence awakens. The illustrations show a girl writing next to a gray cat, with stamps and a world map that evoke the letter's journey.
The cover indicates the Sirenitas collection from laGalera. Publication date: February 1, 2010.
Aimed at children and early readers who enjoy short stories and illustrations.
